Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold has reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with Real Madrid as he prepares for a high-profile move to the Spanish giants on a free transfer this summer.

According to reports from Sky Sports, the 26-year-old right-back has agreed to sign a five-year contract with Los Blancos, which will see him earn a weekly salary of £240,000, a significant increase from his current £180,000 per week at Liverpool.

In addition to the lucrative salary, the deal is also said to include a substantial signing-on bonus, as well as performance-related incentives that could further boost his earnings during his time at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Alexander-Arnold, who has been with Liverpool since the age of six, has established himself as one of the world’s best full-backs. Over the years, he has won every major trophy with the Reds, including the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup.

His departure marks the end of an era at Anfield, as he is set to leave the club after spending 21 years in the Liverpool system, having joined their academy in 2004. His move to Real Madrid will see him reunite with his former England teammate Jude Bellingham, who has been excelling in Spain since joining the club from Borussia Dortmund.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid remains active in the transfer market, with reports indicating that the club is also considering moves for Bournemouth’s Dean Huijsen and Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton as potential reinforcements.

Liverpool, on the other hand, is preparing for life after Alexander-Arnold. The Reds have a promising right-back option in academy graduate Conor Bradley, while Joe Gomez and Jarell Quansah offer additional defensive cover in that position.
