Nigerian midfielder, Christantus Uche, delivered a sensational all-round performance as Getafe cruised to a dominant 4–0 win over Real Valladolid in La Liga on Sunday.

The 21-year-old, making his 28th appearance of the season, registered two assists and played a crucial role in the third goal as Getafe tore apart their opponents with a ruthless first-half display.
Uche wasted no time stamping his authority on the match. Within the opening minute, he delivered a smart-headed pass for Mauro Arambarri, who calmly slotted home to give Getafe an early lead.
The Super Eagles prospect continued to pull the strings in midfield and was again the provider in the 19th minute, teeing up Aleix García Terrats with another perfectly timed assist to make it 2–0.
Moments later, Terrats struck again, grabbing his second of the afternoon to extend Getafe’s lead to 3–0.
The visitors’ misery deepened in first-half stoppage time when Mario Martín received a red card, reducing them to 10 men and effectively ending any hope of a comeback.
In the second half, Getafe remained in control. Duarte capped off the dominant performance with a well-taken goal in the 80th minute to seal the rout.
Uche, having done his part, was substituted in the 62nd minute with the result all but secured. But his influence on the match went far beyond the two assists.
He also created two big chances, completed two key passes, won three tackles, and six duels, and had two efforts at goal – one blocked, the other narrowly wide.
With five goals and seven assists so far this season, Uche continues to make a name for himself as one of Getafe’s most exciting young talents.
As they prepare to host Las Palmas next weekend, the spotlight will be firmly on the Nigerian midfielder to deliver another standout performance.
